B1630 Subwoofer, A3, F6, F8
The Stealth Acoustics B1630 in-wall subwoofer panel is a unique solution for putting subwoofer powered low end into a living space invisibly. The B1630 is a panel 16" by 30" that mounts directly to the structural framing of the wall replacing the drywall. The panel has an active area that moves and is surrounded by a solid mounting frame. The subwoofer panel is secured to the mounting frame, and the drywall is bonded to the panel to create a seamless transition. Similar in construction to the Stealth 228 Series 2 full range system, the B1630 has a surface on the face of the panel that is designed to be painted with latex based products. Light texture or wallpaper can also be applied. The B1630 uses (2) 8" woofers mounted on a baffle built from 1" thick MDF. This acts as the backbone of the system. The baffle is bonded to one side of the mounting frame with the active panel mounted to the opposite side. This creates an air tight chamber. The woofers fire into this chamber activating the entire face of the panel with the exception of the 1-3/4" mounting border. The mounting area is identified by a dashed line printed on the face of the panel. The active panel is constructed of a three layer combination of materials consisting of two layers of a high quality paper separated by a layer of Styrofoam. This creates a panel that is very light weight yet rigid enough to maintain the integrity of the wall. When used in conjunction with 5/8" drywall, the B1630 can be installed in framing openings as narrow as 9-1/2" between studs or ceiling joists. Minimum depth is 3-1/2". Since it installs like a piece of wall board, finishing is left to the professional drywall tradesman. The A/V integrator need not pick up a trowel. The basic installation notes are printed on the face of every panel and a step by step photo installation guide is shipped with every pair of speakers.
Three-Way Totally Invisible In-Wall or Ceiling Loudspeaker
The Stealth Acoustics model A3 is a three-way, full-range loudspeaker system that becomes completely invisible after installation. The loudspeaker has a rigid frame which attaches directly to standard structural framing without the need for special mounting brackets. The paintable active diaphragm face is a structurally modified three layer composite consisting of two layers of graphics grade paper with a foam core. The diaphragm is bonded to the frame, creating an active area surrounded by a stable mounting area. Basic installation instructions are shown on our movable cover sheet that comes off before taping and finishing begins. The face of the panel has been pre-primed and is ready to receive finishing materials. The edges of the panel are tapered similar to the edges of gypsum wallboard, providing the room necessary for normal wallboard tape and joint compound to be used to feather the speaker seamlessly into the wall. The A3 loudspeaker comes equipped to match either 1/2" or 5/8" wallboard installations. On-site finishing options include latex paint, covering with light wallpaper, fabrics and selected texture coats. There is no need for special vellums or other nonstandard wallboard finishing materials. Stealth Acoustics speaker invisibility allows for powerful advantages over other loudpeakers as they can be placed wherever they sound best, free of visual concerns that may conflict with architectural features. Advanced internal carbon fiber materials allow for smooth frequency extension to 20kHz, even with four coats of paint. As with all Stealth speakers, the beefy crossover system is over provisioned to take abuse and is equipped with self-resetting poly switches to protect the drivers well below their rated power handling. To further ensure consistent quality, we test each Stealth speaker with computer analysis and a listening test before they are released for shipment.

Smaller and lighter than its predecessors, with a non-fatiguing performance that challenges traditional in-wall speakers, the Stealth F6 becomes completely invisible when installed and finished in a sheetrock wall. The F6's smaller footprint (15-7/8" x 11-7/8") allows for more versatile installation options in a standard 16" stud bay or in framing as narrow as 8-3/8" with 5/8" drywall installations or 12" with 1/2" drywall installations. The F6 has a depth of less than 3", making it ideal for wall, ceiling or soffit installations. With high-frequency response now extended to 20kHz, the F6 has uncompromised sound quality while still providing you with Stealth's unique invisibility.
