Frequently Asked Questions

Question: What type of payment plans are available?

Answer: Many payment options are available to the customer. Priority Connections works with several different banks and leasing companies with unique financing options, which allows us to customize a solution for each customer. In fact, we have never had to turn a customer away for financial reasons.

Question: Can Priority Connections engineer my project?

Answer: Yes, Priority Connections is an engineer, furnish and install company. This means that no matter how large your project, Priority Connections will service your account to any degree you wish. If you need all services, then all can be provided. If you only need one or two services, that can be arranged also.

Question: If I need to set up my phone service, but am unsure of what I need or how to get the best deal, can Priority Connections help?

Answer: Yes, Priority Connections has working relationships with all of the competitive dial tone providers and we will be happy to assist you in determining what the best and most effective configuration is for your company and we are very happy or acquire services for you if requested.

Question: I have heard that our current network should be checked before we can have VoIP?

Answer: Yes, Priority Connections highly recommends a network assessment before a new system is installed at the customer location. Priority Connections will provide a complete assessment of your existing network to determine if there is capacity to handle the voice traffic used in VoIP applications. Unlike other companies who are concerned only with the sale of the equipment, then inform you later that you must make upgrades to your network, Priority Connections works with you on the front end to determine exactly what your network capabilities are. Before you invest any money in equipment.

Question: Can I install cabling in my existing home?

Answer: Every home is different. The layout of the house would determine whether or not we could install cables in your walls. We’d be glad to set up a walkthrough appointment with you in your home.

Question: What other services do you offer besides in-wall cable installations?

Answer: We are a dealer for high-end components, speakers, TV’s, home automation systems, surveillance equipment, central vacuum systems, lighting controls and more. Learn more about the brands we carry on our website.

Question: Why purchase products through Priority Connections over a retail store?

Answer: We offer several quality brands that are not found in BIG BOX retail stores. Some of our brands have much better warranties. You will also find that our installation standards are much higher then our competitors. Although its difficult to compete with BIG BOX stores that purchase their products in bulk for a better price, often times you will find when comparing apples to apples our prices are lower after including installation costs.

Question: Do you provide installation services for only the products you carry?

Answer: We understand at times some of our customers have their minds set on specific products we cannot get a hold of. Therefore, we do install TV’s and components purchased elsewhere at our installation rates. If there’s any programming involved we would require a manual for our installers to use as a quick reference.

Question: I’m currently building a home and I’d like to add a sound system with a plasma TV in the future but I can’t afford it right now. Should I pre-wire my home now or wait until I’m ready to purchase a system?

Answer: Pre-wiring your home is usually the least expensive part of installing any system. If you plan to purchase a better TV or other equipment in the future, it is smarter to install cabling at the framing stage before your drywall goes up. If you wait until later, you’ll find it is going to be much more expensive to fish wiring through your existing walls. Sometimes depending on the layout of the house, pre-wiring may no longer be possible without cutting into your drywall.

Question: I hate the idea of having a different remote for every piece of electronic equipment I own. Is there any way you can simplify a system onto one remote?

Answer: Absolutely. Not only do we carry remotes that can integrate all your audio and video equipment, but we also carry keypads and touch screens that can control all the lighting in your house, your thermostat, monitor your surveillance cameras, leave messages, open your blinds and shades, turn on your sprinkler system, and much more! All this is possible as long as we pre-wire your house to do so at the early stages of building or remodeling.
